Windowlogging
Windowlogging lets glass panes be placed inside other blocks, so windows can be built into walls, slabs, stairs and similar blocks.
What it does
Glass panes can be set into other blocks in the same spot, which lets a wall or floor carry a window without a separate pane placed beside it. Which blocks accept panes is set in a configurable block tag, and the config can also extend the feature to glass panes placed in slabs, stairs and other blocks. The feature was ported from an earlier idea in the Create mod, and the author credits the Create team for the inspiration and for help with early modding questions. The mod runs on the client and the server, so both need it.

What the author says
This mod adds the option to add glass panes to slabs and stairs (and depending on config other blocks too). It can be used to create some amazing looking intricate structures. Which blocks can accept glass panes is configureable in a block tag.
