Warp Pads
by thatpreston
Warp Pads, a Steven Universe inspired mod, lets players link warp pads in the world and teleport between them with a right click.
What it does
A pad is assembled at a crafting table from quartz, iron, and an ender eye. A new pad can be renamed on placement, given an optional dye that changes the color of its warp beam, and edited later by crouching and right clicking it. Right clicking a pad and selecting another pad as the target sends the player there.
Standard pads only link to other pads in the same dimension. An upgraded pad, made from the recipes described in the mod's files, allows travel between dimensions. Client and server both need the mod, and Architectury API is required, starting with version 2.0.
Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1, with builds across 1.16.5, 1.19.2, 1.19.4, 1.20.1 and 1.20.4 in total. The source code is published under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, and the issue tracker is public. The mod was first published on 2023-05-03 and last updated on 2024-11-18.

Each pad can be given a name when placed and edited afterward by crouching and right clicking it.

Use cases
Hub networks
A builder can place several named pads in a base or spawn area, so players reach each location without walking between them.
Dimension travel
Upgraded pads link the overworld, the nether and the end, which reduces the walking needed to cross dimensions.
Who it’s for: Players who want teleport pads with a themed look, and server owners who need Client and server installs with Architectury API.
