Vanilla Constructs
by FractalCoder
Vanilla Constructs adds more than 100 vanilla-style features, including new recipes, blocks, items, tools, structures and enchantments, for players who want the survival world to feel fuller.
What it does
Chainmail armor is crafted from iron nuggets, Crying Obsidian from obsidian and amethyst shards, and Glow Berries from sweet berries and glow ink sacs. Rooted Dirt takes dirt and hanging roots, Name Tags take string and paper, and Rotten Flesh can be produced from dried leather. Several crafts also convert existing items, such as a water bucket made from a powdered snow bucket in a furnace or nine nether wart from a nether wart block at a crafting table.
The mod adds structures across many biome types, including a Watchtower Jungle Village, and new enchantments that touch farming and combat. Armor stands can take arms: sneaking and right-clicking one adds arms, and doing it again removes them, so held items drop. The mod runs on Fabric and NeoForge, is published for 1.21 – 26.2 across 11 release versions, and needs no extra dependency on either loader.
Key features
100+ added features
More than a hundred vanilla-style additions extend the existing survival content without changing its core loop.
New building and mining tools
Additional tools make some building and mining tasks quicker to carry out.
Structures across biomes
Several new structure types spread across different biomes, including the Watchtower Jungle Village.
Armor stand arms
Armor stands gain movable arms through a sneak and right-click interaction, which makes posing them possible.
Previously unreachable items
Items that were out of reach in vanilla gain crafting paths, so the new recipes can be completed in survival.

How it compares
Anything Glows is a NeoForge-only mod for 1.21.1 with the same client and server environment, and it is released under the MIT License. Armor Stand Arms is open source under the MIT License and is required on the server, with the client optional, covering 1.16 – 26.3 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, so players can join without a client install. Vanilla Constructs is not open source and is released as All rights reserved, which matters for those reading the code.
