Ultimate Horseshoes

Ultimate Horseshoes gives every horse a set of tiered horseshoes that add speed, jump height and armour, and that the player equips and removes by hand.
What it does
Horseshoes are found in chests, traded with armorers and upgraded with a smithing template, so the copper, iron, golden, diamond and netherite tiers each raise speed by a set amount and jump height by a set amount. Default horseshoes also give armour. Skeleton horses and zombie horses can wear them too, as can other mounts.
Equipping a horseshoe needs sneaking, and removing one uses shears, which is meant to feel like blacksmith work. Durability drains over time and can be restored at an anvil, with Mending, or by smelting a nugget. A config screen controls how fast durability drains, toggles durability for horseshoes and horse armour, and sets the speed, jump and armour multipliers per tier.
The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Builds exist for 26.1 – 26.3, with 26.3 as the latest Fabric file, and the mod is Fabric-only.
