uiinpui's Advancements

by uiinpui

uiinpui's Advancements is a datapack that adds roughly ten new advancements to Minecraft, including a Sneak Attack challenge and a tall-flower planting goal.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalAll rights reserved1.21.5 – 1.21.11

What it does

The datapack adds a set of challenges on top of the vanilla advancement tree. One goal asks a player to defeat the Warden with a single hit using a mace, and another rewards bringing a villager the End trade. Together they give a few more targets for players who have already finished the standard list.

Tall flowers are covered by a separate goal that counts each of the five tall varieties once it is planted. The new entries appear in the advancements menu under a complete root advancement, which the author set up with commands. The author notes further additions are planned over time.

Because it is a datapack, the mod is not a loader mod. Only the server has to load the datapack, while players can join without it, so a server running it alone is enough. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with the latest builds at 1.0 for 1.21.11, and the code is under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Single-hit Warden challenge

A mace strike that defeats the Warden in one hit completes the Sneak Attack advancement.

  2. End trader advancement

Bringing a villager the End trade completes an advancement tied to that trade.

  3. Tall flower planting goal

Planting each of the five tall flowers, from lilac to pitcher plant, counts toward the Tallest Flowers advancement.

  4. Root advancement menu

The new entries sit under a complete root advancement in the advancements menu, set up through commands.

What the author says

This is a datapack that adds around 10 new advancements to the game. All of which can be found in the advancements menu when you complete their root advancement (or with commands I suppose). I am planning on adding more over time.
