Truncated caps how far a world can grow by stopping new chunk generation past a set limit, and it can swap the ending for an alternative one.

What it does

A chunk generation limit is set through the chunkGenerationLimit gamerule, and once generation reaches that boundary no new chunks are created beyond it. An alternative ending for the game can be turned off with the truncatedAlternativeEnding gamerule set to false. The mod runs on the server, so players join without installing anything, and it requires Fabric API. Files exist for 1.21.1 and 1.21.3 on Fabric, under the MIT License as open source code, and the latest build is 0.3.0-1.21.3 for 1.21.3, published 2024-11-02 on the beta channel. Because the mod alters how chunks are generated, unexpected behaviour may appear, particularly when it is paired with other mods.
