The mod watches the offhand slot and, when no totem is there, scans the inventory and moves the first Totem of Undying it finds into the offhand at once. A colored warning message appears for the player, with one calm notification sound, and the warning does not repeat as spam. The automatic offhand equipping can be switched off and on with the O key, and the warning message color and sound can be customized.

The author describes the purpose as helping players survive PvP and other high-risk moments by removing the need for fast reactions when a totem is needed. The changes happen on the client and do not alter hitboxes, player data, game mechanics or server files. The mod is listed for Minecraft 1.21 and later releases, and the author describes it as lightweight and friendly to frame rate.

Either side can run it, and neither needs it. Files are published for Fabric only, for 12 release versions 1.21 – 1.21.11, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.11 as the latest file. The code is all rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
