Totem fix
by Solmey
Totem fix changes how undying totems respond when several would be consumed in one damage tick, so a player cannot chain pops on a single hit.
What it does
The Totem fix mod addresses MC-309606, a vanilla bug where multiple totems of undying could be used within the same damage tick, even though that should be impossible. Only one totem is consumed per tick, so a player no longer survives a hit that should have been fatal. Exploited setups such as railguns that kill a player in a single game tick are the situation the fix targets. The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, for game versions 26.1 – 26.3, under a Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.0 license that is not open source.
Key features
One totem per damage tick
Only a single totem of undying can activate during one damage tick, closing the MC-309606 exploit.
Fatal hits stay fatal
A hit that would kill the player without a totem still ends the life after the fix is applied.
Server-side only
The fix runs on the server alone, so players connect without installing anything on their side.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
