The Legend Returns brings Herobrine back into a Fabric world, with cursed structures, dark portals and a boss fight he sets up himself.
What it does
Herobrine stalks the player after an altar is activated with a diamond, and he builds structures near the player before he challenges them to a boss fight. During the fight he summons Shadow Clones, dark copies of himself, and cursed spawners can appear in the structures found during the encounter. The mod is set in an apocalypse and is meant to be played in a dark room.
Loot in its structures is tiered into common, uncommon, rare and legendary groups, with the rarest chests holding the Cursed Crown and Dimension Key. The mod runs on Fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1 with Java 21, and it is not open source: it is released under All rights reserved. Both the server and every player need it, and no required dependencies are listed.

Shadow Clone summons
In the middle of the boss encounter, Herobrine conjures dark duplicates of himself called Shadow Clones, and cursed spawners may show up inside structures that players happen to discover.
Legendary weapons and armor
More than 30 unique items include the Phantom Blade, Void Blade, Herobrine Bow and a full Herobrine armor set with accessories.
Tiered structure loot
Structure chests are sorted into common, uncommon, rare and legendary tiers, with the rarest holding the Cursed Crown and Dimension Key.
Staged visual effects
A five-tier particle system, texture swaps, lightning on enrage, reverse portal particles and a shield with visual feedback mark each stage of the fight.
