Tetris MC Unofficial adds Tetris as an onscreen minigame, reachable from the title screen and the pause menu for a short break in play.
What it does
The mod is an unofficial port of Tetris MC by Nukebob3, updated for Minecraft 1.21.11 and carrying extra features of its own. A player opens the game from the title screen or the pause menu and plays Tetris in an in-game window. Pieces are drawn with the block textures of installed mods, so the look of the board changes with the modpack.
The mod is Fabric only, for 1.21.11, and is client-side only, so servers do not need it and players join without installing it. It requires Fabric API, YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) and Mod Menu. Mod Menu is needed to reach the config screen, which YACL builds. The mod is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license and is not open source, though its source code is public. The latest Fabric file is 1.1.6 for 1.21.11, published on 2026-06-10.

Players waiting on a server load or a build timer can open a round of Tetris from the pause menu.
Modpack textures
Because pieces use the block textures of other installed mods, a modpack can give the minigame its own look.
Who it’s for: Players who want a built-in puzzle game inside Minecraft, and modpack authors who want a minigame that matches their other content. Only the client needs the mod.
How it compares
TetrisCraft is also client-side only and is for Fabric, covering 1.21 – 26.3, but its Creative Commons Attribution No Derivatives 4.0 license forbids derivative versions and it is not open source. Server Side Tetris is different: it runs on the server alone and is released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, covering 1.17 – 1.17.1.
