TaCZ Extras is a Forge addon for the TaCZ gun mod that changes bullet impacts, weapon audio, crawling and reloads on 1.20.1.
What it does
The addon adds visual and audio effects on top of TaCZ gunplay. Bullets that hit metal throw bright animated sparks, shots on water leave splashes and bubbles, and impacts on regular blocks, metal and water each get their own effect. A larger set of hit sounds is used so repeated firefights vary more.
Selected weapons receive revised volume and hearing distance. Crawling works without holding a TaCZ weapon and has better keyboard controller support. A reload can optionally be triggered automatically when leaving aim-down-sights, and bolt-action and pump-action weapons behave more reliably. The addon builds on TaCZ and is not a standalone mod: TaCZ is required, and the addon depends on it to run.
TaCZ Extras runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is published for Forge only, for Minecraft 1.20.1, and the code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only.

Metal sparks
Bullets striking metal surfaces produce bright, animated sparks in place of a plain hit.
Water splashes
Shots that land in water create splashes and bubbles, with effects separate from those on solid blocks.
Expanded hit sounds
A larger set of impact sounds makes repeated firefights less uniform to hear.
Weapon audio tuning
Selected weapons get adjusted volume and hearing distance, so gunfire carries at more fitting levels.
Crawling and reload options
Crawling no longer requires holding a TaCZ weapon, and reloading can start automatically after leaving aim-down-sights.
