Tab And Locator Color lets each player pick a personal color that is shown on the Locator Bar, in the tab list and on player names.
What it does
Players choose a color through a GUI, using either the 16 Minecraft base colors or an extended HEX palette with a color shade selection screen. The selected color is applied to the player's marker on the Locator Bar and to the name shown in the tab list, which makes players easier to tell apart in a crowd. Status text can be set with commands or the GUI to show the current activity, and it follows each viewer's language settings, with client language translations supported.
Three display modes are available: a colored symbol before the name, the name in the selected color, or both together. The mode is changed in the config. Administrators can also turn on Team Mode, in which team sizes are distributed fairly at random and player personal colors are restored automatically afterward. The mod runs as a Fabric server-side mod for the 26.1.x line and later, and it requires client-side installation, so players need to install it. Files cover 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3, and the latest build is 1.1.2 for 26.3.
