Spawn Elytra - like in Craft Attack

Spawn Elytra lets players take off from the spawn area without wings, in the style of Craft Attack, using a double-jump and an F-key boost.
What it does
Inside a defined area around spawn, players can leave the ground without an elytra in hand. A double jump starts a flight, and pressing F gives a speed boost while gliding. Bedrock players are detected automatically through Floodgate and Geyser, and the boost works with the Sneak control on Java and natural controls on Bedrock. The area can be a simple radius around spawn or a custom rectangle, and its center can be set in-game with a command instead of by hand.
Spawn Elytra is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric across 24 release versions, 1.20 – 26.3. It needs Cloth Config API and Fabric API. It also runs on Paper, Spigot, Bukkit and Purpur through server platform builds. Players need no physical elytra: the mod uses a virtual elytra system, and the chestplate is preserved while the flight is active, so other armor cannot be equipped mid-flight.

Double-jump takeoff
A double jump inside the spawn area starts a gliding flight with no elytra item in the inventory.
F-key speed boost
Pressing F while gliding gives a speed boost, and Bedrock players get a natural boost control instead.
In-game area setup
The spawn area is set with commands run in-game, and a custom center point can be stored separately from the config.
Configurable messages
The message shown when a player lands or leaves the area supports color codes and placeholders, and the flight duration can be limited.
Inventory and data protection
Saved player data is restored after landing, death or a world change, and the virtual elytra cannot be displaced by equipping other armor.
