Sound Control Keys gives players keybinds that raise or lower the sound level without opening the options menu.

What it does

Players can mute, unmute, raise or lower the volume with dedicated keys during play, so the sound settings no longer have to be reached through the options screen. The current volume appears as a percentage in the top right corner of the screen. The keybinds only change the master volume. The mod is built for Forge 1.19 and runs on the client alone, so servers do not need it.

  1. Volume keybinds

    Keys mute and unmute the sound, and raise or lower the level in steps.

    The keybinds adjust the master volume only, not the individual sound categories.

No longer do you need to navigate the options menu looking for the slider! When changing the volume, in the top right corner the current volume will be presented as an percentage.
