Soul Pearl

Soul Pearl lets a player capture the essence of another mob and then teleport that mob with a thrown pearl.
What it does
Soul Pearl adds an item that captures a mob's essence and a teleport that moves the captured mob to where the pearl lands. Capturing a mob's essence is done by crouching and right-clicking the air, which lets a player give the essence to another player. A game rule can turn off capturing essence from other players in survival, and creative players are always able to capture essence. Fabric API is required. The mod is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2.0 only, is open source, and is published for Fabric on 1.19.4, with version 0.2.1 as the latest file. It runs on client and server, so both need it.

Self-capture by crouching
Crouching and right-clicking the air captures the player's own essence, which can then be handed to another player.
Survival capture rule
A game rule enables or disables survival players capturing other players' essence, and the restriction still applies when it is enabled.
