Somebody in the corn is a Forge food mod for 1.20.1 that adds corn plants, corn ears, kernels, boiled corn and themed monsters with their own loot.

What it does

Corn is the core of the mod: a corn plant grows in the world, its ears can be harvested, and the kernels can be eaten or cooked into boiled corn. The mod also adds a set of creepy, horror-flavored characters and blocks, along with cursed heart and cursed metal materials that drop from the monsters and feed into items and magic-style crafting.

The monsters are loosely inspired by the band Korn, and an item named OMG KoЯn corn appears among the additional items. Monster drops lead to magic, technology and some lighter novelty items, so the content extends past food. The author describes the goal as a larger set of content for players who want more to do in their free time.

The mod is published for Forge on 1.20.1 only. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are released under All rights reserved, and the mod is not open source.
