Snow's Extended Structures & Biomes

The mod generates new biomes such as frosty tundras and lush hidden groves, and each region holds distinct materials and places to discover. Expanded structures join them, among them ancient ruins, mysterious towers and bustling settlements, which give exploration more places to reach.

Weather patterns and other environmental effects react to the new biomes, so conditions change from one region to the next. New materials and crafting recipes exist only inside the extended biomes, and they allow the crafting of items that cannot be made from vanilla resources. The mod is Forge-only and is built for 1.20.1 alone, with a file published on 2024-08-20. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. It is released under the MIT License, and the code is not open source.
