Simplemoney
Simplemoney replaces emerald trading with a crafted currency, the Money Bill, that players earn through industrial recipes and exploration loot instead of farming.
What it does
Money Bills are crafted in a multi-step process that uses rare materials, smithing tables and blast furnaces, so the currency has to be earned rather than farmed. Players can use it to trade with villagers and other players, and the mod adds a weighted trading system in which rare enchantments such as Mending appear only at fixed levels.
The Wandering Trader gains a black market with non-renewable items such as Netherite Scrap and Shulker Shells. Money Bills also appear as loot in shipwrecks, strongholds and buried treasure. A toggle lets server owners enable or disable the custom trades and the Wandering Trader overhaul.
The mod is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is published for Fabric alone, with builds for 1.21.10 and 1.21.11. Cloth Config API is required, and Mod Menu is optional for in-game configuration. Simplemoney runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it.
Key features
Crafted Money Bill currency
The Money Bill is produced through a crafting chain that needs rare materials, so its supply depends on player progress.
Weighted villager trades
Villager trades use a weighted probability system, and rare enchantments like Mending appear only at set levels.
Black market Wandering Trader
The Wandering Trader sells non-renewable items such as Netherite Scrap and Shulker Shells in exchange for Money Bills.
Money Bills in exploration loot
Money Bills are placed in shipwrecks, strongholds and buried treasure chests as an alternative to farming.
Toggleable custom trades
Custom trades and the Wandering Trader overhaul can each be enabled or disabled, letting server owners choose which changes apply.

What the author says
SimpleMoney bridges the gap between resource gathering and a high-tier economy. Forget Emeralds—the Money Bill is the new standard for wealth. You can't just farm it; you must craft it, find it, or earn it.
