What it does

Simple teleporters is a Fabric mod that adds new blocks and recipes for building teleporter networks. Each teleporter can be linked to another, so a player who steps into one arrives at its partner. Five teleporter upgrades can be fitted to change a teleporter's behavior, which lets a single base hold several different kinds of link. The mod is client and server, so a server and every player need to run it for the teleporters to work in multiplayer.

The blocks and recipes are meant to sit alongside ordinary survival progression, and the mod is useful wherever long-distance travel is a chore. It requires Geckolib, which must be installed on the same loader. The files cover 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, and the latest is 0.4 for 1.20.6, an alpha build from 2025-04-30. Released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.0 license, the mod is not open source, but its source code, issue tracker and wiki are public.

Key features

  1. Linkable teleporters

Teleporters are placed as blocks and connected to one another so that stepping into one moves the player to its linked partner.

  2. Five upgrades

Five different upgrades can be fitted to a teleporter, each altering how it behaves within a network.

  3. New blocks

The mod adds its own teleporter blocks to the game, placed and handled like other building blocks.

  4. New recipes

Crafting recipes for the teleporters and their upgrades are added, so the features are reached through survival play.
