Simple Shulkers

Simple Shulkers adds wooden shulker boxes for players who reach the mid game before they can craft end-game storage.
What it does
Each box is built from a shell made of five stripped logs of its wood type, joined to a vanilla chest in a Shell-Chest-Shell arrangement. A finished box provides 9 inventory slots, so it works as portable storage without End access.
A placed box is opened with a right-click and keeps its contents when broken, so items are not lost while a player relocates it. A tooltip on the item shows what is stored. Dispensers handle the boxes the way they handle vanilla shulker boxes, and the boxes follow the vanilla rule that they cannot be placed inside another shulker box. Creative mode players can find all of them under the Simple Shulkers creative tab.
The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is published for Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.21.1 only. Its code is open source under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
