Simple Lucky Block
by af-an
Simple Lucky Block adds a block that drops a random mix of rewards and setbacks when a player breaks it, so every break carries a small element of chance.
What it does
Lucky Blocks generate naturally in new worlds, and players can also craft one to trigger the same random effects. Breaking a block selects a lucky drop, an unlucky drop or a normal drop. Lucky drops include complete tool sets in wood, stone and gold, armor sets in leather, gold and iron, and special items such as sponges and ender chests. Unlucky drops are more likely to be sticks, dead bushes and flint, and some outcomes create explosions or spawn mobs.
The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. Builds cover 1.20 – 1.21.11, with 19 release versions and snapshot builds available. Fabric builds need Fabric API, and Quilt builds need the Quilted Fabric API. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the 1.0.0 files date from 2025-12-20.
