Simple Death Coordinates

by luuxxifer

Simple Death Coordinates records where a player died and shows that location in chat and on the HUD after respawn.

FabricNeoForgeQuiltClient-side onlyAll rights reserved26.1.2 – 26.2

What it does

On respawn the mod writes the exact XYZ position of the death point into chat, as a message styled like a standard system notice. A distance tracker shows how far the death point is from the player's current position, which helps plan a recovery trip. The information can be copied from chat and used to navigate back. The HUD stays uncluttered, as no extra menus appear on screen.

Players who lose items on a long exploration or building trip can use the logged coordinates to return to the spot. The mod works with Vanilla Style Integration, which lets its notifications blend with native game messages. It runs on the client only, so a server does not need it and players can join without installing anything.

Files are published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt. Builds exist for 26.1.2 and 26.2, with the Fabric file for 26.2 and the NeoForge file for 26.1.2 as the latest releases. The mod is licensed under All rights reserved and is not open source.
