On macOS, holding Shift while scrolling can reverse the scroll direction or stop scrolling altogether, and Shift-Scroll Fix corrects both behaviours on the client.

What it does

Shift-Scroll Fix is a Fabric client mod with no server component, so only the player's game needs it. Its purpose is to correct scrolling bugs that appear on macOS when Shift is held. The mod is open source under the MIT License, with builds for 1.14 – 26.2 and the latest file 1.0.1 for 26.2, published 2024-06-19.
