Server Friendly Looting
by ShyNieke
Server Friendly Looting changes how loot reaches players, aiming to keep new arrivals on a server from being left behind by players who explored earlier.
What it does
The mod adds loot sources intended to suit multiplayer servers, where players who joined later often find that older players have already claimed the most valuable rewards. A Mimic chest with its own loot table can be placed in a chosen dimension and biome, and the items it drops can be changed with CraftTweaker. Elder Guardians are also part of the loot changes. It is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Builds exist for 1.16.5 – 26.1 on Forge and NeoForge, and the mod is open source under the MIT License, with CraftTweaker optional.

What the author says
This mod aims to make looting more friendly towards servers so that new players don't get punished for the exploration of other players. Currently the mod adds Mimic's to the game which can drop a chest loot table item that is available in that dimension.
