SenseESP

by sooqwess

SenseESP, a Fabric utility for Minecraft 1.21 – 1.21.8, shows entities through walls with outlines, filled boxes, nametags and health bars.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21 – 1.21.8

What it does

Entity overlays are drawn on top of the world so that players can locate mobs, players and containers behind solid blocks. Singleplayer worlds and operators on a server at permission level 2 get the full set of ESP options. Other players on multiplayer servers see a restricted version that overlays only line-of-sight targets, and that depth-tested view cannot be widened in the config, since the multiplayer limits are fixed in the code.

Overlays are drawn as 3D filled or 2D boxes, and a glowing wall outline can mark entities across a room. A container chest wall ESP highlights storage behind walls, while nametags can show distance, health text and health bars. The mod is a client-side entity overlay helper for Fabric, so servers run without installing it.

SenseESP is published for Fabric only, across 4 release versions, under the MIT License, and is not open source. Its latest Fabric build is 1.3.1+1.21.8 for 1.21.8, released 2026-07-31. Players can report problems through the issue tracker.

Key features

  1. Through-walls entity overlays

Mobs, players and other entities stay visible through solid blocks, with the depth test kept on the overlay.

  2. Filled and outlined boxes

Entities are marked with 3D filled boxes or 2D boxes, plus a glowing outline that traces walls.

  3. Nametags with health

Nametags can show distance, health text and health bars above each entity.

  4. Container chest ESP

Chests and other containers are highlighted through walls, so storage can be located from a distance.

Use cases

Who it’s for: Singleplayer players and server operators at permission level 2 who want the full ESP options. Players on multiplayer servers get the restricted line-of-sight overlay, with limits set by the mod itself.

Questions

Does SenseESP need to be installed on the server?

No. Only the player's game needs it, and servers run without it.

Which Minecraft versions does SenseESP support?

Fabric files are listed for 1.21, 1.21.1, 1.21.4 and 1.21.8. The latest build is for 1.21.8.

Why does the multiplayer overlay show only some entities?

On multiplayer servers the overlay is limited to line-of-sight targets, and these limits are built into the mod rather than set in the config.
