Scorebar

by Maya

Scorebar hides the scoreboard bossbar on the client, a change the author made to help frame rates when the bar is shown.

FabricClient-side onlyGNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.19.2

What it does

The mod turns off the scoreboard bossbar in the client so that its rendering no longer runs. The author states the goal is a lower frame rate cost, and says the mod can be useful in other contexts as well. Only the client needs it; servers run without it. Scorebar requires Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL), and it is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so the code is open source. Fabric is the only loader, and the single game version is 1.19.2.

Key features

  1. Scoreboard bossbar off

The scoreboard bossbar is disabled on the client, removing it from the screen.

  2. Configuration screen

Options are changed in a config screen that opens from Mod Menu, and nothing else is loaded for that.

  3. Client-side operation

Players install it alone, and servers do not need the mod to run it.

Yes. Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) are both required dependencies, so both must be installed alongside Scorebar.

Does Scorebar have to be installed on the server?

No. Only the player's game needs it, and servers run without it.

What the author says

A client-side mod that disables scoreboard and bossbar because it somehow decreses fps on mcci (can be useful on other servers too). The mod does not do anything when you load up, only when you open the config screen and turn on the options you can use its functionality.
