Scary Creepers
Scary Creepers makes creepers frighten nearby mobs, so other mobs try to run away from an exploding creeper.
What it does
On a server, creepers that are about to explode cause nearby mobs to move away from them instead of standing by. The behavior comes from a beta-era feature that Minecraft dropped for performance reasons, returned here as a simple server-side change. The mod is configured through gamerules and runs on Fabric for 1.19.4 – 1.20.4 builds.
Only the server needs it, so players join without installing anything. The author describes the mod as a work in progress, and the mob AI may be tuned further in later versions. Source code and an issue tracker are public, and the project is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.
