SaddleBack lets players take a saddle from a ridden pig strider, with a datapack and a mod install offered as two ways to set it up.

What it does

Players who want a saddle can take it off a ridden pig strider, which the mod treats as a valuable resource. The feature is delivered as a datapack or as a mod jar, so either route covers the same behavior. Installation for the jar goes into the .minecraft/mods folder, and the datapack zip goes into the datapacks folder of a world. SaddleBack is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and its files cover 1.13 – 26.2. Only the server needs the mod; a player may add it to the client as well.
