RTSSFix
by Plexescor
RTSSFix is a Fabric utility that stops Minecraft from crashing or hanging when RTSS is in use.
What it does
The mod targets one failure: Minecraft freezing or closing when the RTSS overlay is running alongside the game. It is applied as a single mixin inside a single class, which keeps the footprint very small and leaves the rest of the game's behavior untouched. Players who run the game on Fabric and see these stalls can install it without changing their settings elsewhere.
Only the client needs the mod, so servers and other players do not have to install it. It is built for Minecraft 26.1.2 on Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or later, and it requires Java 25 or later. Files exist for 26.1.2 only, with 1.0.0 as the current build dated 2026-06-17. The code is released under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
The author notes that the mod needs its configuration step before it takes effect, and that it is compatible with other Fabric mods. Its gameplay impact is limited to the crash and hang fix, so the rest of play should feel the same as before.

What the author says
RTSSFix is a tiny Fabric mod that prevents Minecraft from crashing when RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS) is running alongside the game. RTSS hooks into Minecraft's GPU context and interferes with its OpenGL timer queries. This causes Minecraft to crash with: IllegalStateException: GlTimerQuery is closed
