RGB Outline Selection replaces the black box drawn around the block a player looks at with a smooth, animated rainbow outline.
What it does
The mod changes only how the block selection outline is drawn. Instead of the default black box, the outline cycles through rainbow colors in an animated loop. Nothing else in the game is altered, and the mod adds no items, blocks or screens.
The mod runs on the Fabric loader and needs Fabric API as its only dependency, so Fabric Loader and Fabric API must be installed first. Because it is a client-side mod, it can be placed in the mods folder of a single-player game or a multiplayer client, and servers do not need it. Files are published for 1.20.1 – 1.21.11, and the latest Fabric file, 1.0.2, targets 1.21.11 and was released on 2026-07-28.
