ReZero ReturnByDeath
With ReZero ReturnByDeath installed, a player who dies respawns at once and hears a sound taken from the Re:Zero death scene.
What it does
The mod adds Re:Zero style death handling to Minecraft. When a player dies, the respawn happens immediately and a respawn sound from the series plays. A rare alternate sound with a brief darkness effect can replace it, and the chance of that is set in the config file, with 15% as the default. The sounds can be heard by players nearby, so the effect carries into multiplayer sessions.
The mod can also set the game rules for immediate respawn and keeping inventory when it starts. Those rules are switched on automatically and can be left as they are through the config file. The mod runs on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Minecraft Forge 47.4.0 or newer, and it is released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, which makes it open source with public source code and an issue tracker.
