Red Forest is a Forge and NeoForge world generation mod that adds a Red Forest biome dimension with structures, new mobs and a story mode.
What it does
Red Forest adds a biome dimension with its own terrain, structures and mobs, reached through the game's progression. A story mode with quests and rewards gives the new dimension a sequence to follow, and the mod includes new weapons, reinforced amethyst armor and edits to how TNT behaves.
The mod is built for single-player worlds, where the quests and new areas are played in order. Its content covers the adventure side of the game: exploring the dimension, fighting the added mobs and collecting the rewards from quests. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge on Minecraft 1.20.1 and 1.21.1.
Red Forest is client-side only, so servers do not need it and players can join without installing it. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. The latest Forge file is 8.8 for 1.20.1 and the latest NeoForge file is 9.2 for 1.21.1.
