Read The Rules is a Forge server mod that lets server owners write their rules in a config file and show them to players as formatted messages.
What it does
Rules are defined inside the config file, and an editable command accepts rules as well, so a server can change its text without restarting. Changes to the config are picked up while the server runs. Rules support Minecraft-style color codes, which allow emphasis and formatting in the displayed text.
A server that wants players to read its rules before playing can use the mod to present them in a consistent format. It runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything. The mod is published for Forge only, across six release versions 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, with 1.0.2 for 1.20.6 as the latest file. It is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
