ProjectETeams

by kurrycat

ProjectETeams lets a Forge group share EMC and network knowledge, so team members can use one pool of learned items instead of separate personal networks.

ForgeClient and serverGNU General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.12.2

What it does

Team members share the Knowledge of the EMC network with the whole team, and items learnt before a player joins are counted for the team as well. Personal EMC is not carried into the team pool: a team starts with 0 EMC, and EMC moves between members through the team network. Players who add the mod before joining a team can add their own network to the team afterwards.

The mod has its own settings section named ProjectETeams, where sharing of EMC and Knowledge can be switched on or off, and the changes take effect without requiring a restart. Client and server both need it, and the mod requires MixinBooter, which pulls in Cleanroom automatically. Fugue is needed as well when running on Cleanroom. The code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and files target 1.12.2 only, with v1.4.0 as the latest Forge file, dated 2025-11-16.

Key features

  1. Shared EMC network

Team members draw on one EMC pool, and EMC can be transferred between members of the same team.

  2. Shared Knowledge

Items learnt by one member become known to the whole team, including items learnt before a player joined.

  3. Team starts at zero

A new team begins with 0 EMC, so personal EMC does not join the team pool.

  4. Configurable sharing

Sharing of EMC and Knowledge is set in a dedicated settings section and can be changed at any time without a restart.

What the author says

Items learnt before joining the team are learnt by the team and everyone in it when joining. Your personal EMC will not get lost, it will simply use the team EMC while in a team, and the personal EMC while not.
