With Primal Frontier Legacy, players can bring prehistoric creatures into the overworld and choose which ones to tame and use.
What it does
Primal Frontier Legacy adds dinosaurs to the overworld as mobs, each with its own set of abilities and weaknesses. Players can observe a creature, learn what threatens it and what it can be used for, and then tame it. The author notes that the first release includes two creatures and that more are planned, with additional entries added over time.
The mod runs on the client and on the server, so both sides need it. It targets Forge and the 1.20.1 game version only, with the latest Forge file being 0.4.1 from 2026-03-24 on the alpha channel. The project is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
