Prehistoric seacreatures
by vidartuff
Prehistoric seacreatures puts ancient marine animals into the ocean and river biomes of 1.20.1, each with its own drops, fights and crafted gear.
What it does
Liopleurodon, a large marine reptile, is the strongest of the new sea creatures. Its serrated teeth deal heavy impact damage, and a defeated liopleurodon drops teeth that craft into a serrated blade, which adds bleeding on hit. A sword can be repaired by combining it with serrated teeth, and a serrated bow fires an Orthoceras arrow.
Dunkleosteus is an aggressive armoured fish that hunts players and smaller prey such as salmon, cod and tropical fish. Its dermal plates form a new armour set that increases survivability while exploring the seas, grants faster movement underwater and the ability to breathe underwater, and can repair armour at an anvil. Trilobite, Jaekelopterus, Sacabambaspis, Ichthyosaurus and Brygmophyseter fill out the water biomes, including a rideable whale and a tameable pack hunter that needs saddles.
Installation needs Forge for 1.20.1 only. Both the server and every player must run the mod, since the environment is client and server. The mod is published under All rights reserved and is not open source.
