Potion Recipes Brewing adds brewing recipes that turn ordinary potions into the non-potion effects vanilla Minecraft already has, such as glowing and levitation.

What it does

Each added recipe takes a base potion and an ingredient and returns a potion that applies one of the game's status effects, covering Glowing, Darkness, Levitation, Haste, Luck, Unluck, Nausea and Saturation. Players learn the recipes through the normal brewing stand, so the new potions sit alongside the vanilla ones rather than replacing them.

The additions are kept simple and balanced, so they feel like part of vanilla Minecraft and not a separate system. Because the mod is installed on both sides, players on a server brew and drink the same potions, and the server applies the effects in the same way for everyone.

Potion Recipes Brewing is built for Fabric and targets 26.1.2 only, with 1.0.0-26.1.2 as the latest file, published on 2026-05-17. The source code is public, but the mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
