Pianosaurus is a large tameable mob from the Poppy Playtime universe, added to Minecraft worlds by this Forge mod for 1.20.1.
What it does
Pianosaurus is a bigger-bodied entity that players can tame with raw meat or raw fish and then ride. It is fast for its size, takes no fall damage from its large strides, and can be mounted by a player. Dismounting from a height can hurt the player, since the mob is tall. Pianosaurus spawns naturally, and a regular piano can also be crafted by combining eight note blocks with a gold block, or the spawn egg can be made from a piano and an egg.
Pianosaurus defends itself when attacked. It hits hard with a lot of knockback at iron level, and its melee attack reaches three blocks, so ranged weapons are the recommended choice against it. When it dies it drops a music disk tied to the series' first song. The mod also adds other characters from the Poppy Playtime universe to the Minecraft world, including Huggy, whose spawn egg is crafted from rotten flesh and blue wool, and Poppy, whose entry is sparser and tied to the 1.1 update. Client and server both need the mod, and it is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
