Plants vs. Minecraft

Players craft seed packets from materials and use them to place around 50 plants that attack zombies automatically or protect the player. The 52 zombies spawn like regular mobs, remain during the day, attack plants and drop equipment, food and armor. Seed packets and the zombie mechanics are the core of the mod, and it is aimed at recreating the experience of tower defense games inside a Minecraft world.

The mod adds a new dimension with non-Modern Day worlds drawn from the PvZ2 setting, where unique zombies spawn and structures hold hidden treasures. Players can also build a portal using a Time Twister Taco, and a neighbour spawns with a car that can be traded for random items. A set of new music discs carries songs from the PvZ games.

Installation needs only NeoForge and the mod file for 1.21.5. The server and every player need the mod installed. The files are released under the MIT License, and the mod is not open source.
