Pillager Apocalypse Structures
by JONI111236
Pillager Apocalypse Structures adds pillager-themed outposts, camps and checkpoints to worlds on Forge for 1.20.1, set after a zombie apocalypse in which the raiders regained strength.
What it does
The mod places new structures built by pillagers in the years after a collapse. Raiders have taken territory and set up temporary camps, fortified walls and supply wagons, so survivors meet them while exploring. The structures are meant to make a zombie apocalypse setting feel more immersive and to give survival worlds more places to explore.
Pillager outposts are also built over water, with checkpoints that control rivers and coastal movement. The author describes a core raider settlement generator still in development, featuring residential buildings, blacksmiths, prison cells, armories and markets. Future updates could rework or drop individual structures, and the designs themselves are not locked yet.
Pillager Apocalypse Structures is a server-side only mod: players join without installing it, and only the server needs the Forge file. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Files are published for 1.20.1 only, with 0.3.5 as the latest, in the beta channel.

What the author says
The mod was primarily designed for zombie apocalypse modpacks, but it can also be used in vanilla-style survival worlds to make exploration more immersive and engaging. Set in a zombie apocalypse where pillagers didn’t fall — they adapted, the world reflects a faction that has managed to survive and rebuild.
