Pigeons! adds several Columbidae species, pigeons and doves, to Minecraft as tameable mobs that spawn in plains, forest and jungle biomes.

What it does

The mod includes eight species from the dove and pigeon family, such as the mourning dove and the diamond dove. Pigeons spawn in plains, forest and jungle biomes. Their behavior was reworked so they stay near their home spawn point instead of flying off.

Players tame a pigeon with seeds and then give it a stick command to stay in place or follow. Seeds also breed pigeons. The mod is built for Forge on Minecraft 1.20.1 only and is released under the MIT License, which is not open source. Only the server and each player need it installed. The current release is 1.3.0, published 2025-09-08.
