Overworld Ancient Debris
Overworld Ancient Debris spawns ancient debris deep underground in the overworld, a resource that normally appears only in the Nether.
What it does
Ancient debris, the source of netherite, is placed in overworld terrain by this mod, so players can reach it without traveling to the Nether. Spawns sit deep underground and are kept rare, and the generation uses vanilla-style world generation, so new chunks receive the ore while existing chunks stay as they are. Blocks, items and pure vanilla compatibility are left unchanged apart from the added placement.
The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with builds covering 1.17.1 – 26.2 across 14 release versions. Client and server are both needed, so the server and every player must run it. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, and it plays with other world-generation mods. Its source code and issue tracker are publicly linked, and the mod was created with IntelliJ. It is an unofficial product, not an official Minecraft or Mojang product.
Key features
Overworld ancient debris
Ancient debris generates in overworld stone layers, giving players a netherite source without a Nether trip.
Deep underground spawns
Placement is limited to deep underground, which keeps the ore rare and rewarding to find.
Vanilla-style generation
The ore uses the same kind of world generation as vanilla features, so it fits into existing terrain without new blocks.
Works in existing worlds
Only new chunks receive the ore, so an established world is not rewritten when the mod is added.

Use cases
Netherite without the Nether
Players who want netherite materials early can gather debris in the overworld instead of building a Nether portal.
Survival progression
Rare deep spawns give mining trips a clear goal in survival worlds.
Who it’s for: Survival players and server owners who want ancient debris outside the Nether and who accept that only new chunks receive it.
