With Origins: Rockeater, a player becomes a small creature that eats stone and gains effects from the minerals it digests.

What it does

Rockeater is an origin added through a datapack for the Origins mod. Once chosen, the player is only one block tall, can eat rocks thanks to a strong jaw, and digests different minerals for varying benefits. Light-emitting blocks cause blindness, but only when their lit property is set to true, and the creature sees slightly better in the dark. Pickaxes deal extra damage to this player, nearly as much as an axe would, and holding a pickaxe in the main hand while pressing the primary key repairs the held item over ten minutes.

The creature cannot properly handle water inside its digestive system, which limits how it can travel and feed. The origin is built around digging through stone, so it suits players who want to go mining. Rockeater requires Origins and Pehkui, and Pehkui supplies the size power that makes the player so small.
