ForgeClient and serverCustom license1.20.1

What it does

Installed in a Forge 1.20.1 instance, the mod adds ore deposits to new chunks as they generate. Both the server and each player need it, because the ores are placed during world generation and must match on each side. Files exist only for Forge, the latest being file 6, published 2025-06-15 on the alpha channel.

The project is released under a custom license and is not open source. Its issue tracker and wiki are linked from the project page, and the first file was published on 2025-06-07.

Key features

  1. Added ore spawns

Ore deposits are generated in new terrain, adding resources to the underground layers of the world.

  2. Random placement

The ore output is randomized, so the spread of deposits differs from one world to the next.

  3. Forge build for 1.20.1

The mod is provided as a single Forge file set for Minecraft 1.20.1.
