Orenucopia

by Lunalii

Orenucopia adds colorful ore outcrops to world generation, along with a seed system for growing them into full-size ore.

FabricForgeClient and serverMIT License1.19.2

What it does

Outcrops generate as three-dimensional clusters of ore in the world, and they expand the caving experience. Most ores appear at normal size, while coal and diamond outcrops are smaller. Nether quartz, nether gold and ancient debris outcrops are also added to the Nether.

Players can grow their own outcrops. Combining a raw ore or gem with two amethyst shards yields a seed ore. A seed planted on a solid surface grows into a small outcrop, and placing the matching ore block beside it lets it grow to full size. The mod is published for Fabric and Forge for 1.19.2, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Colorful ore outcrops

Three-dimensional ore clusters generate in the world in a range of colors, each one a visible patch in the stone.

  2. Seed ores

Raw ores and gems combined with amethyst shards produce seed ores that can be planted on a solid surface.

  3. Growing outcrops

A planted seed grows from small to full size once the matching ore block is placed next to it.

  4. Nether outcrops

Nether quartz, nether gold and ancient debris outcrops are generated in the Nether alongside the main set.

No. Files are published for Fabric and Forge only, and both are for 1.19.2. Pick the loader that matches the other mods in the world.

Does the server need Orenucopia?

Yes. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too.

Will Orenucopia work on versions after 1.19.2?

The current files target only 1.19.2. Later releases are not listed yet, so check the mod page for newer builds before updating.
