OreDictDumper
by SatanicSanta
OreDictDumper is a Forge utility that exports entries from the Ore Dictionary to wiki, CSV or JSON files through two commands.
What it does
Two commands write Ore Dictionary data to disk. Dump Ores exports one chosen entry in a format of the player's choice, and Dump Mod Ores exports every entry that belongs to a mod named by its abbreviation or Mod ID. When no format is given, the output uses the wiki format, which is written to a .txt file. Results can be saved as CSV or JSON.
The mod began as a small tool for editing a wiki that documents ores. Its wiki output uses the mod, name, flags and gridparams layout that the custom OreDict MediaWiki extension reads. Files take the names oredump.csv or oredump.json, or ABBRV.txt, ABBRV.csv and ABBRV.json for a mod abbreviation. The mod is installed on the client only, so a server does not need it. It is published for Forge in 16 release versions, across the 1.7.10 – 1.12.2 span, under the MIT License and is open source.
Key features
Dump single ore entries
The Dump Ores command exports one Ore Dictionary entry in the wiki, CSV or JSON format.
Dump all entries of a mod
Dump Mod Ores takes a mod abbreviation or Mod ID and writes all its matching entries to one file.
Wiki output format
Without a format argument, the output follows the wiki layout expected by the OreDict MediaWiki extension.
Named output files
Results are saved as oredump.csv or oredump.json, or as ABBRV files named after the mod abbreviation.
Dump everything at once
The dumpallores command writes the entire Ore Dictionary in one run.

Use cases
Wiki editing
Editors who document ores on a MediaWiki site can generate the formatted entries instead of typing them by hand.
Spreadsheets and data tools
CSV and JSON exports give a list of ore entries that can be opened in a spreadsheet or read by a script.
Who it’s for: Modpack authors, wiki editors and players who need a list of Ore Dictionary entries for a mod or for the whole game.
How it compares
Tinkers' CSV Exporter is also a client-side mod, published under the MIT License for 1.16.5 – 1.20.1, but it exports other data than Ore Dictionary entries. RecipeDumper, another MIT-licensed open source Forge mod, is server-side only and covers 1.19.2 – 1.20.1, so it sits on a different side and version range from OreDictDumper, which runs on the client for its own older span.

What the author says
OreDictDumper is a very simple mod I originally created to help with the wiki editing process, by dumping all ores within a mod into the tag!name!mod!flags!gridparams format that our custom OreDict MediaWiki extension expects. However, I made it a bit more useful to people, by adding CSV and JSON formatting, as well…
