Players who want portals in unusual places can craft Minecraft but you can make portals out of ores! into a set of special dimensions, each tied to a single ore block.
What it does
The mod lets players build portals whose shape is the nether portal frame but whose frame is made from a chosen ore block. Players place a material in the center of a crafting grid, surround it with cobblestone, and the recipe yields the ore block needed for the frame. Once a portal is built, it is lit with a light portal igniter, which is crafted by replacing the diamond in a standard flint and steel recipe. Using the igniter on the frame works like flint and steel does on a nether portal.
Beyond the diamond example given in the author text, the mod adds dimensions such as a haybale dimension, a dirt dimension, a leaf dimension and a quartz dimension. The author states that more dimensions are programmed in and that more blocks are planned for later builds. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files exist for Forge only, for Minecraft 1.17 and 1.17.1, and the author notes that it was tested on 1.17.1 but not on later releases.

Note: This is my first mod you please give me all the feedback you can. All is appreciated! In this mod, I have added the ability to build portals to custom dimensions made out of a single ore. You can craft portals by arranging the materials ore blocks in the shape of a nether portal.
