OpenStairs gives blocks of wood and stone a set of slim stair variants, including floating and free-standing styles, for cleaner building.
What it does
Each stair variant is crafted from a single log or stone block, and the recipe produces four stairs that cover the outside and inside corners, along with a post in the middle. Stonecutter recipes turn logs and stems into four new blocks each, so the set includes wood and stone types with free-standing and floating shapes that take up little room.
The mod targets 1.20.1 and is published for Forge only. Files cover 1.18.2, 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, with 1.5 for 1.20.1 as the latest release, and the mod runs on both client and server, so the server and every player need it installed. Forge is required, and the author notes that the latest version of Forge is recommended. The code was produced with MCreator, and the license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
