Only Flax adds flax crops to Minecraft, so players can grow the plant and craft string from its harvest.
What it does
Flax is a crop that players plant and harvest like other farm crops. Wild flax plants also generate naturally in the world, so seeds can be collected without farming first. The harvested flax is used to craft string, which gives a use for the plant beyond decoration.
Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. It is published for Forge and NeoForge, with files for game versions 1.18.2 – 26.3 and the latest Forge file for 1.20.1. Only Flax is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and is open source.
