Oaks Nature, a Forge world generation mod by ContinuedOak, adds new blocks, plants and items that expand the nature side of the game.
What it does
Its additions cover leaf piles and hollow logs placed by biome, limestone and vases, along with new log variants, fence gates, stairs, slabs and bamboo fences. Wood, gold and diamond tools are included, and a brush removes dirt, gravel and sand. Shearing saplings yields dead bushes. The author describes the content as an ongoing project that keeps growing over time.
The mod runs on the server only, so players join a server that has it without installing anything. Forge is the only loader with files, for 1.19.2 and 1.19.4, and the latest file is 0.4.2 for 1.19.4, published 2023-07-12. The first version came out on 2023-06-04. The code is not open source and is licensed as All rights reserved. The mod does not require any other mod.
Key features
Hollow logs
Sneaking and right-clicking a log with an axe hollows it out, and hollow logs generate in matching biomes.
Leaf piles
Decorative leaf piles appear in the correct biome and can be placed as ground decoration.
Limestone and vases
A limestone stone type behaves like other stones, and vases are crafted from clay cooked over a heat source.
Wood variants and tools
New log variants, fence gates, stairs, slabs and bamboo fences come with wood, gold and diamond tools and a brush for dirt, gravel and sand.
